The Vice President and Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services, meets on Thursday (6) with representatives of the Food Sector to discuss inflation combat strategies. The meeting, which will be attended by other ministers, is part of a series of federal government actions to mitigate the impacts of the increase in prices.
There will be two coordinated meetings by Alckmin. The first will take place in the morning, with the participation of ministers Carlos Fávaro, of Agriculture, and Paulo Teixeira, of agrarian development. Already in the afternoon, the vice president will meet with entrepreneurs from the food sector.
During the meetings, Alckmin will evaluate the proposals presented last week by rural producers and supermarket owners. This debate has been one of the biggest concerns of the Plateau, given the significant impact of inflation on the perception of the population in relation to the government.
After the technical meetings, President Lula is expected to gather his team to define the next government actions.
