The former presidential () was included last Friday (28) in the register of defaults of Serasa Experian, as informed by the company to the 10th Civil Court of Porto Alegre (RS).
The reason is a debt of in the amount of R $ 1,783.56, referring to attorney costs of a
Ciro’s action called for the exclusion of a Facebook post from a page maintained by Hermes, as well as compensation for moral damages, due to criticism of his proposal about Petrobras. The page said that Ciro’s idea was “crazy” and could take the country to the SPC, a reference to the pedestrian’s proposal to clean the indebtedness.
The judicial decision, of November 2023, considered that Ciro, “because it is a politician, is exposed to greater visibility, a greater public exposure, where criticism as an opinion does not always hurt the image and intimacy, because there are ideological disputes, having greater tolerance with certain demonstrations, proper to political game.”
The former minister was ordered to pay the procedural costs, which he did not, leading to his inclusion in Serasa’s register. Ironically, taking Brazilians from the SPC (Credit Protection Service) was one of the flags of their last two presidential campaigns.
Sought through his advisory, Ciro did not speak until the publication of this text.
