Women and non-binary journalists can run for Elizabeth Neuffer Scholarship, offered by April 20. The program lasts six months, starting in February 2026.
It is necessary to have proficiency in English and at least three years of experience in coverage of human rights and social justice topics. Freelancers can also apply. The results will be released in June this year.
The selected professionals will have the opportunity to perform internships in the newsrooms of The Boston Globe and in addition, they will participate in courses and research at the US Owner International Studies Center.
The monthly scholarship will cover the life costs of journalists. The Foundation also provides health insurance, round trip airline tickets, and visa costs for US participants.
Registrations can be made through the form available on the Foundation.
