Last Wednesday the US President demanded the delivery of the remaining hostages and called Hamas “sick and misrepresented”
Hamas stated on Thursday (6.mar.2025) that the numerous threats of US President Donald Trump (Republican) against Palestinians are encouraging Israel’s Prime Minister, retreating in Gaza’s ceasefire and intensifying the siege to residents of the region.
On the last 4th (5.mar), Trump demanded that Hamas “Free all hostages now, not after”, including the remains of the dead hostages, “Or it’s over for you”.
“You can choose. Free all hostages now, not after, and immediately return all the bodies of the people you have murdered or ended for you. Only sick and misrepresented are the bodies, and you are sick and misrepresented. I am sending to Israel everything necessary to end the work, no member of Hamas will be safe if they do not do what I am talking about ”, said Trump.
According to the agency ReutersHamas spokesman, Abdel-Latif al-Qouanoua, said that “The best way to release the remaining Israeli prisoners is the occupation to enter the second phase and force it to join the agreement under the sponsorship of mediators.”
The spokesman also stated that“These threats complicate issues related to the ceasefire agreement and encourage occupation to avoid implementing their terms.”
The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, which came into force in January, was negotiated with Trump’s envoy participating in conjunction with the envoy of Joe Biden’s administration, which was at the end of his term. He asks the remaining hostages to be released in a 2nd phase, during which the final plans would be negotiated for the end of the war.
Last Saturday (1st), the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement was closed, with Israel imposing a total blockade on all goods that enter Gaza, requiring Hamas to release the remaining hostages without starting negotiations to end the war.
Blocking can hunger 2.3 million people living in the ruins of Gaza, according to the Reuters. “Besides, for the people of Gaza: A beautiful future waits, but not if you keep hostage. If you do that, you are dead! Make an intelligent decision. Free the hostages now, or there will be hell to pay later!“, Completed the Republican, after a meeting at the White House on Wednesday (5.mar) with a group of hostages that were released in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
