At least two people lost their lives after a Russian missile attack that hit a five -story hotel in Kryvyj Rih on Wednesday evening In the central part of Ukraine, TASR reports according to AFP. Another 28 people suffered injuries, In the meantime, the governor of the Dnepropetrov region Serhij Lysak said on the telegram platform.

“The Russian rocket hit a five -story hotel and (on the spot) a fire broke out,” the Ukrainian ambulance said on the telegram. She further informed that The attack was destroyed by the hotel staircase and rescuers under the ruins searched for survivors. In the initial reports, the rescuers reported two dead, seven injured and 14 persons liberated from under the ruins.

Gubernate Lysak, around midnight, reported that the number of injured has increased to 28 people, including one child. Kryvyj Rih is the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Greenland. It lies approximately 70 kilometers northwest of the front line. More than 600,000 people lived there before the war.
