Brazilian tennis player João Fonseca faces Englishman Jacob Fearnley on Thursday (6) for the first round of the Indian Wells tournament in California, considered the “fifth slam” of the circuit for his highly competitive keys and first-rate structure.
Fonseca – who entered the tournament as Wild Card, or guest of the organization – is currently the 80th place in the ATP ranking, while his opponent is 81st. The winner of the match will find the English also Jack Draper, key head number 13, in the second round.
The match will be the first in stadium 1, scheduled to start at 4pm, and will be broadcast by ESPN 2 and Disney+.
Already in football Bahia faces the Boston River, in Uruguay, for the Copa Libertadores, at 9:30 pm, with broadcast from Paramount+.
