“The general objective of the campaign is to promote, in a leary spirit and in times of urgent socio -environmental crisis, a process of integral conversion, listening to the cry of the poor and the earth.”said the entity.
Celebrated nationally since 1964, the Fraternity Campaign, according to CNBB, is a way for the Catholic Church in Brazil to celebrate the period of Lent, in preparation for Easter, with prayer attitudes, fasting and charity.
“The highlight of the campaign is the collection of solidarity, held in all communities of Brazil on Sunday of Ramos – this year, on April 12 and 13. Resources are intended for social projects across the country”, Said the CNBB.
