A woman was arrested on Wednesday afternoon when she tried to join the Manoel Neri Prison in Cruzeiro do Sul, carrying about 65 grams of marijuana hidden in her private parts.
The drug was identified during the safety inspection procedure, performed with the aid of Norris Kanner body scanner, equipment used to detect prohibited materials.
The suspicion, which intended to visit her husband in the prison unit, was arrested in the act and sent to the Civil Police Station for proper legal proceedings.
