Jamichel Sampaio Vieira, 34, was injured by knife blows during an attempted kidnapping on Friday morning (7), inside a residence on Rua 1º de Maio, in the Tancredo Neves neighborhood, in Rio Branco. The crime was committed by a group of five men who broke into the scene and attacked the victim.

According to witnesses, the criminals, who would be members of a criminal faction, arrived at the residence in a silver car and were received at the gate by Vieira’s brother. Determined to sequest it, they entered the property to capture the victim. However, when they realized that they could not take it, they struck at least three stab wounds, reaching their legs and buttocks.
Witnesses claim that the attack may have been motivated by alleged thefts and theft attributed to the victim in the region. After the aggression, the group fled without traces.

The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered and referred Vieira to the Rio Branco Emergency Room. Despite the severity of injuries and blood loss, their health was considered stable.
The Military Police were called, gathered information and patrolled the region in search of criminals, but they were not found.
The case is initially being investigated by agents of the Civil Police Recent Staff (EPE) and will later be under the responsibility of the Homicide and Protection of Persons (DHPP) Police Station.
