His suffering came unexpectedly on an ordinary day in April 2024, when he got a sudden seizure, lost consciousness and woke up in his bed in his house with bruises on his body, as if someone was daring. After five days in the hospital, he was diagnosed with a low -level brain tumor. “I was simply shocked. It was hard to absorb it, ”he admitted.
During the open brain surgery, Jason had to remain conscious while the doctors worked to remove the tumor. Doctors have removed 99 % of the tumor, but the biopsy results showed that this is not a low -degree tumor, but in fact glioblastoma. “Before the operation, I thought I would recover and it would be a thing of the past, but then it became part of my presence and the future. “I was lucky because I was never sick or tired and my body managed to do the whole treatment incredibly well,” he said. “I eat healthy, every day I try to work out walking, every month I visit a therapist and play guitar every day, what I love,” describes his activities an older man.
