Romania detained six people who would be intended to testify the government and force NATO to leave, a few months after the elections were nullified on suspicions of Russian interference.
Romania authorities announced on Thursday the arrest of six suspects of planning a blow with the “help of agents of a foreign power, located in both Romania and the Russian Federation.”
The group will have acted with the objective of establishing a paramilitary militiatestify the Romanian government and withdraw the country from NATO. According to the prosecutors responsible for the case, the plan also included the imposition of a new constitution.
