Torres lawyers say former commander Freire Gomes “boasts a ‘elephant memory’, recalling precisely from the full coup draft presented in December 2022, but does not even know how to indicate the date and place where Anderson Torres eventually provided legal support to former President Jair Bolsonaro.”
For the defense of the former minister, Freire Gomes’s testimony is not enough to conclude that the documents are the same.
In the opposite direction, he says that the papilloscopic examination done by the Federal Police in the draft found in his home did not find digital of the accused.
For the defense, this information shows that the “draft found in Anderson Torres’s house is not the same as that mentioned by Freire Gomes in his statement.”
