Conmebol released, this Friday (7), the details of the Libertadores 2025 group stage draw, which takes place on March 17, at 20h (Brasilia), in Luque, Paraguay.
The event can be watched live on Conmebol Libertadores and South American Conmebol Youtube channels.
Botafogo,, Palmeiras and São Paulo will be the key heads. Internacional and Fortaleza are in pots 2 and 3, respectively. Corinthians and dispute the preview phase of the competition and, if they win a place, enter the pot 4.
According to Conmebol rules, teams from the same country cannot fall into the same key during the draw unless one of them has advanced from the previous phase. Thus, if Bahia and guarantee the classification, they can be placed in groups that already have other Brazilian teams.
Each group will consist of four teams, which will face each other twice, one as principal and one as a visitor. The team that end in the lead of each key guarantees a direct place in the round of 16, while the second place will play the playoffs against one of the third placed Libertadores.
