Map of parishes and neighborhoods where the AL
Here is the main points where the creation of new AL is prohibited, a map that divides the municipality of Lisbon between North and South – but not even from the center escape.
The entire area of the Lisbon Historic Center is totally forbidden to create new local accommodation (AL). Thus dictates the shared by the municipality itself, available for consultation until April 15.
According to the newspaper Público, the displayed map takes into account the ratio of the number of al already existing in relation to the number of family dwellings in each parish or neighborhood.
The places that exceed a ratio of 5%they are in “absolute containment”, and those between 2.5% and 5% are in “relative containment”, ie they may receive AL in a limited way.
The areas of Bairro Alto/Madragoa, Castle/Alfama/Mouraria, Colina de Santana, Baixa and Aixos Avenida da Liberdade/Avenida da República/Avenida Almirante Reis exceed the 20%ratio.
In Santa Maria Maior, 68.8% of housing are local housing. The parish houses the historic center, with zones such as Alfama, Mouraria, Baixa, Castelo and Chiado.
Theoretically, so far no new ones could no longer be created in these places. Now the measure is more comprehensive, here’s the places of “containment”:
Parishes in “absolute containment”:
- Alcântara
- Star
- Compassion
- Santa Maria Maior
- São Vicente
- Santo António
- Streams
- New Avenues
Parishes in “relative containment”:
- Bethlehem
- Campo de Ourique
- Penha de France
- Park of Nations
- Help
- Field
In the zones in “absolute containment”, some neighborhoods that are not in parishes of “Absolute containment”. This is the case, for example, from the neighborhoods of São Bento or Santa Isabel, in Campo de Ourique, or Gago Coutinho Avenue, in Alvalade, or the Alvalade neighborhood, or the southernmost neighborhoods of Belém and Ajuda.
AREEIRO also has neighborhoods in “Relative containment”, As is the case with the new avenues, the Blind Arch or the Aliados neighborhood.
And even the northern parishes, that is, further from historical centers, have zones in “relative containment”, as is the case of olive groves, where AL is limited in the neighborhood of Incarnation, or Alto do Hatter in Santa Clara.
