The mayor of Maricá (RJ) and met this Thursday (6) in Brasilia with President Luiz Inacio da Silva, whom he delivered his book “Dialogues with Utopia”, about new directions to the left.
The book, with preface by actor José de Abreu, will be released this semester. In the work, Quaquá criticizes behavioral discussions that dominate the left today, and speaks of policies that adopted in Maricá, such as the zero tariff of public transport and the Mumbuca social currency.
The meeting shows that the leader keeps his prestige with Lula intact, despite a serious controversy in which he was recently involved within the party.
