Itaú (ITUB4) and Petrobras (Petr4) Once again are among the most suitable actions to invest this month, according to a survey made by CNN.
Six of the eight financial institutions consulted point to the bank’s roles in their Recommended stock portfolios for March. For the oil company, five houses kept the company in its portfolio.
For the survey, the portfolios of Santander, XP, Agora Investimentos, BTG Pactual, EQI, Genial, Itaú and Empiricus were consulted.

Scenario
Throughout 2025, EQI analysts expect a lot of volatility in the Brazilian exchange due to an uncertain international context, with the imposition of commercial tariffs by US President Donald Trump. They evaluate that this adds challenges to global economic growth.
In addition, in the domestic scene, the fiscal scenario and the 2026 elections reflect on the investor’s movements.
“Local markets have anticipated a greater chance of change of government in the federal elections scheduled for October 2026,” said the EQI report.
“Yes, we are no less than twenty months of the election, but Brazilian risk assets had positive days after researching research showing dizzying fall in the popularity of the current government.”
Meanwhile, for BTG analysts, the concern revolves around food prices and some industrial products to remain under pressure.
“Currently, our team is modeling a consumer price index from 5.7% to 2025, which leaves little room for the Central Bank to flex the monetary policy in the short term,” he said.
