Tony Carreira was talking to Mário Rui Vieira for the BLTZ podcast ‘Post Emitter’ and addressed various topics related to his professional but also personal life.
At the beyond, asked what he would say to a person who also lost a daughter or son, Tony Carreira stressed the importance of having “tools” to deal with this pain.
“I need tools to this day because pain never passes. We learn to live or survive with her ”he began to say, highlighting the “great help” he had on the part of the public who supported him unconditionally when Sara Carreira’s departure in December 2020.
Tony Carreira then pointed out that the fact that he speaks of his daughter “every day” also helps him in this process of mourning: “Every day I talk about her, I like to talk about her (…)”sharpened.
After stressing the importance of the Sara Carreira Association, the presence of the daughter of her daughter at her home and the grandchildren, the Portuguese singer reinforced her advice: “Therefore, I take a lot of tools and what I advise anyone who goes through the same … They take tools, things, and believe in things they didn’t believe before.”.
In the end, Tony Carreira recalled that whenever she looks at Sara Carreira photos, thoughts about what the singer would be like today are inevitable.
“There is no day when I don’t remember her but I had two alternatives, two hypotheses: either trying to continue or let me go down. Now, if I fell, I had the notion that a part of my family fell too (…), never passes, there is no day that I don’t look at her photograph and that you don’t think ‘today would be 25 years old, maybe you would have children.’ Look, that’s what it is ”I said.
