This year’s 14th March will offer the sky lovers and their remarkable phenomena of a partial eclipse of the moon. It will be visible for the Czechs just a minute.

6:09. This is the time for Friday, March 14, 2025, when the sky offers an interesting spectacle – an eclipse of the month. Its semi -shaped phase will begin at 4:57, but it will not be noticeable with the naked eye. In the aforementioned 6 hours and 9 minutes, the moon will start visible from the shadow of our planet Earth.

Short observation

In our country, however, this phenomenon will not last long, because only a minute later, that is to say at 6:10, will begin to fit for a month. This applies to observers from Uherský Brod. Praguers can cheer because the West months in the capital will start at 6:23. However, since the eclipse will occur early in the morning and the rising sun will be quite illuminated by the sky, at that time the moon will fit, it will not be a great visible show.

The inhabitants from us to the west will be the best. From Europe, the British, Irish, Icelanders and Portuguese. Then people from North and South America and those of Kamchatka.

Visit the Prague Observatory

The Prague Observatory promises March 14. Opening hours from 4:00 am to 7 am, so it is not entirely the point of observing this astronomical phenomenon from the comfort of heat, what do you do?

Total eclipse of the month 7 September 2025

If you have a partial eclipse of the moon now in March, what to tune in to a more promising complete eclipse that will be visible from us in the entire length? It will occur on the evening of 7 September 2025.

Dating Jupiter with Venus

And we offer an impressive game of some planets. This year will take place on 12 August, when Jupiter and Venus will approach each other at night. Astrologers promise unmistakable observations of IZ cities, where it is usually more difficult due to light glow. If you get a telescope, you will have a good chance to see three of Jupiter’s months.

That would be for this year’s show in the sky.
