It is nothing new that the tech scene is largely a large fan of deregulation. However, some of them now want to take the free market to the extreme and set up numerous “Freedom Cities” on US soil, which would be freed from certain federal laws. With President Donald Trump, the lobbyists seem to come across fertile soil.
