Slovak Television will broadcast On Sunday 9 March at 20.10 h on Two of the tenth episode of the unique documentary cycle of the lyricistwhich reveals creative processes and life stories of the most important lyricists of the Slovak music scene. Through personal stories and depictions of the creative processes of legendary lyricists, it will allow the audience to discover how songs have been created that have been accompanied by generations of Slovaks for decades.
In the tenth episode of the documentary cycle Textworks can be viewers See the story of Vladimír Krausz, which many consider to be the best contemporary lyricist. They admire his talent and have always wanted to know him. And that is the hook – they haven’t seen him in his life. Many do not even know what it looks like. Vlado Krausz is a name that is heard on the biggest music stages, when awarding music awards or is known for radio hits. However, this extremely talented lyricist has always been held in the background.
Andrea Krauszová, wife and long -time muse Vlad Krausz, explains in the documentary why her husband avoids the spotlights. “He likes peace. When he writes lyrics, he needs solitude. She has her favorite place for Kežmarok, where she thinks and creates, ”she revealed. However, its closure does not prevent the deep relationships he built with his artists.
His daughter Lota Krauzso recalls that he doesn’t like even when people get to know him on the street in Kežmarok. “Once there was such an incident that he was recognized by a lady that you were Vlado Krausz. No, I am his brother, so he always tries to talk somehow,” She revealed with a laugh.
The singers who worked with Krausz describe his extraordinary talent and a unique gift to their soul in the documentary. Ivan Tásler cannot imagine IMT Smile without his lyrics, Katarína Knechtová was found in them and Richard Müller says with admiration: “Vlado, you are what multifunctional!“
It is interesting that Krausz was not originally planned to become a professional lyricist. He studied fine arts and has long devoted himself to graphics and advertising. But when he got the first royalties for song lyrics in 2000, he decided to fully devote himself to music. Today he is one of the last professional lyricists in Slovakia who live exclusively with this profession.
