According to Fecomerciosp, almost all immigrants with CLT work are Latin American; SP and SC industries are the largest contractors
Data released by (Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of São Paulo) about the labor market showed that, in 2024, about 71,000 posts with a formal contract were filled by people outside Brazil.
The survey, which was based on the latest numbers of (General Registration of Employees and Unemployed) and (Annual Social Information Relationship), points to an increase of almost 50% compared to 2023, when just over 47,300 vacancies were occupied by foreigners.
This is the largest volume for a single year since 2020, when Caged changed its methodology. Most foreign people who have held jobs in the labor market in Brazil are Latin American, especially from Venezuela and Haiti.
At the end of 2023, according to RAIS data, 44% of abroad labor in the Brazilian formal market was made up of Citizens of Venezuela-very ahead of the 2nd place on the list, Haiti, with 44,700.

Then appear the Administrative and Complementary Services Sector (40,300), accommodation and food services (33,300) and civil construction (24,300).
The largest contractors are in São Paulo (62,700 bonds), in Santa Catarina (60,700) and Paraná (48,700).
It is worth mentioning that in 2024 the Santa Catarina market expanded more strongly to this audience, creating 18,900 new vacancies.
RAIS and CAGED data still allow you to create a profile of foreigners. They are adult young men (30 to 39 years old), with complete high school.
