The president () lives his and he needs to hear the allied parties more. This is the evaluation of Antonio Rueda, president of, caption that has two ministries of the Esplanada.
Speech is adopted in the face of ministerial reform in which parties claim greater government space – so far. Rueda criticized the announcement of, president of the PT, to the portfolio and one of the deputy (-SP) to the general secretary of the presidency.
For Rueda, they are signs of narrowing of the Lula administration. Remembering that the bitter petista moments of low popularity, he says that the president should expand the dialogue channels. But in your opinion, it doesn’t seem so willing to hear anymore.
“The government is not well. I am not saying. It is the research. Lula goes through the worst moment and does not seem to be listening,” he said.
The president of União Brasil cited as an example the rejection of the name of the MDB leader, Isnaldo Bulhões (AL), to the Secretariat of Institutional Relations, although supported by the Centrão leaders. According to him, the appointment of Boulos to the General Secretariat would be a sign “that they just want to talk among them”, even if the function of the portfolio is to establish relationship with social movements.
“The President of the Republic has to be ‘advisable’, has to hear the best people. Lula is not being ‘advisable’. You have to open more.”
Despite the criticism, Rueda rules out the possibility of an immediate landing of the Lula administration, in the trail of a possible departure, as in a recent interview with the Sheet.
“We want the government to work out. But if the government does not improve, no one will want to stay,” said the Union leader.
Rueda’s statements take place while some Lula government allies charge União Brasil’s greater loyalty in voting on the way, under penalty of loss of space in ministerial reform. They also occur during negotiations of an unlikely merger with the PP, acronym aligned with the former president ().
The party occupies two ministries, whose holders claim the permanence in the ruling base. In addition to them, the Minister of Regional Integration, Waldez Goes, was appointed by David Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP)-today’s president, with the support of the PT.
Rueda posed for photos alongside Bolsonaro in Angra dos Reis, on Wednesday (5). He says that he went to the former Mandanician to be held at the invitation of the president of Alerj (Rio Legislative Assembly), Rodrigo Bacellar (União Brasil). An alliance was under discussion for the Guanabara Palace dispute next year. Bacellar is a pre-candidate for the Rio government.
Rueda described the conversation as an exercise in democracy. “I have to hear the relevant forces. And Bolsonaro is relevant,” he said.
In parallel to ministerial reform negotiations, in which the center increases the invoice with each passing day and the government worsens in research, there are conversations to 2026.
The critical lines of both Rueda and Ciro Nogueira echo position the backstage of most century parliamentarians. When Gleisi was indicated, to the detriment of Isnaldo, the reaction was that Lula folded bet on the PT and left allies to see ships.
The translation of the movement made by the most ruling allies is that members of the Center want to expand spaces in the government, especially because it is more expensive to electorally support a management with fall approval.
In Congress, they say Lula is losing the timing of ministerial reform that can make room for more center parties and ensure greater governability.
The expectation, however, is that this exchange will still be made in the coming weeks. Parliament’s priority this year, already under the management of alcoholumbre in the Senate and Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB) in the House, was to resolve the imbroglio of parliamentary amendments, which seems to have occurred after.
