The Marine Corps (CFN) will do this Friday (7) in Rio de Janeiro the presentation of new equipment and weapons, in a ceremony that celebrates the 217 years of the Specialized Force of the Navy.
Will be displayed, launched from the land, and the armored vehicle JLTV. The missile, produced at a cost of US $ 75 million, is a joint project of the Navy and the company Avibras, while the car was acquired from the US government.
There will also be a demonstration of the amphibian caterpillar (clanf) and the piranha shielded vehicles, among other equipment, in addition to the presence of the first women marine combatants, incorporated in 2024.
The event, which will take place at, will be attended by civil and military, Brazilian and foreign authorities.
CFN band, medal delivery and participation of the Children’s Choir for the forces in Sport, which promotes actions for children and adolescents in social vulnerability in the city are also planned.
