The alerts concern the entire Bratislava region and the Trnava region and the districts of Myjava, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, Nitra, Topoľčany, Šaľa, Kežmarok, Poprad and Tvrdošín. “The estimated wind speed is common at a given time of year and areas, but it can cause less damage,” meteorologists added.
It can be more windy on Monday and the mountains. For several sites, the first stage warning of the wind in the mountains applies. It is released for most districts of the Žilina region and districts Brezno, Banská Bystrica, Poprad.
