Pope Francis has a stable condition, follows without fever and responds well to treatment, according to medical bulletin released on Saturday (8) by the Vatican.

Pope has gradual improvement, according to the bulletin. “The clinical conditions of the Holy Father have remained stable in recent days and consequently demonstrate a good response to therapy. There is therefore a gradual and light improvement, ”says the statement.

The Pope remained without fever. According to the Vatican, the gaseous exchange has improved and the hematochemical exams and the bloodgrade are stable.

The Holy Father rested and participated in activities. He received the Eucharist in the morning and participated in prayers in the chapel of his apartment. In the afternoon, he interspersed the rest and work activities.

Francisco has been hospitalized for three weeks with bilateral pneumonia. Pontiff’s health has alternated between worse and light improvements, but in recent days it has not had new paintings of respiratory failure, nor had fever.

The Pope has been going through his longest hospitalization since he took office at the Vatican in 2013. It is the fourth hospitalization during the papacy. Last time he had been hospitalized for three days because of a bronchitis. Last year, Francisco alarmed the church after suffering a series of falls. In 2021 he was ten days old to undergo gut surgery.

In a voice message, Holy Father thanked the prayers received. The small audio, published by the Vatican, shows Francisco with a tired and tired voice, but granting blessings to the faithful.
