Pope Francis has spent a night without incident during his convalescence at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome, according to the last part of the Vatican Press Service, issued on the morning of this Sunday.
“The night has been calm and the Pope rests,” according to the brief statement of the Holy See.
The pontiff last Friday fulfilled three weeks of admission due to bilateral pneumonia and his condition remains reserved, although in recent days he has not registered episodes of respiratory failure or fever.
The Pope thanked last Thursday from the hospital Los Prayers for his health, in an audio message in which the Pontiff has addressed the faithful of the Plaza de San Pedro del Vaticano, where he spoke with obvious breathing difficulties.
