Maybe this year we will have an uninvited nanasy visitor. The carnivorous flat -board Caenoplan Variegat has already appeared in the neighborhood and just does not stop it.
Invasive Ploštěnka Caenoplana Variegat
Does the Australian nature return? It seems yes. At least that can look like that. It was Australia that was originally home to this carnivorous flat, and also in the antipodes had great fucking with invasive species. Now Caenoplan Variegat is attacking European nature, the species unknown and dreaded here.
What do they look like? You can see this in this post from the YouTube channel Roy Kleukers.

Australians know about the invasive types of their
In 1859, rabbits were introduced to Australia, then foxes and camels, but also domestic cats and other eco -atastrophs caused a amphibious reed reed, which reached the continent in 1935.
Except for rabbits! In their case, it was only a whim, as the inhabitants were supposed to serve for sports hunting. All these introduced animals have multiplied in Australia and caused considerable damage to nature. They still represent a big problem, and nature and man still suffer from today.
The “entertainment” of almost catastrophic dimensions has now been taken care of by Australian yellow -striped land platform. This was probably due to the old continent thanks to the store with plants.
One flat -plane, or laid eggs in the soil and immediately there is the basis of a new Europe with the spreading population of yellow striped platforms reminiscent of the earthworms. Unfortunately, the earthworms are at risk of these creatures. Caenoplan Variegata is carnivorous and unstoppable by various soil organisms, including earthworms, snails and small invertebrates.
As is the case, while the platforms are considerably decimated by the states of these for the ecosystem of the necessary organisms, they do not have to face predators themselves, at least not to the extent that they could get rid of the new environment themselves.
What about the platforms?
At present, there is no known occurrence in our territory, but it is only a matter of months and probably just a single season. In 2008, Caenoplan Variegat was in Britain, in six years they were already in the Netherlands, last year in Germany and last year with our Austrian neighbors. If not this year, then next year. The reasons for expanding the flatworms slower are not known.
If you find the flatwork, you may be rejoicing at this discovery, but be the ride and above all consistent. There are no terrestrial original platforms in the Czech territory, so it is not possible to confusion with a local harmless species.
Platelets are hermaphrodites, so they do not need to reproduce a partner, so their spread is easier. In addition, it can also grow into the whole organism from a single separate part. When you quarter it, four flatworms can grow.
Platelets are definitely carnivorous monsters resembling a dragon, which after cutting off will grow more heads. Therefore, postpone the hoe and collect and dispose of hot water, alcohol, lime or salt. They are night creatures, so you can meet them during the evening collection of Pilsers.
