It may seem like a classic figure, but King Carlos II’s musical taste is quite eclectic. Don’t you believe? Try calling Apple Music Radio at 6am on Monday.
A new Apple Music 1 broadcast program will be DJ King Carlos III of England, and is recorded directly at Buckingham Palace. The King’s Music Room (or King’s Music Room) debut already on the day March 10, at 6am in the morningand celebrates Commonwealth Day.
“Apple Music Radio is where culture is happening around the world and we are honored that King Carlos III has chosen to share his personal playback list with us and with music fans from around the world,” writes on Apple Music’s global director of content and editorial, Rachel Newman.
And the King’s taste is quite diverse: in the sound background of the project presentation, you hear an instrumental version of the song “COULD YOU BE LOVED” Bob Marleywho says to be a fan. In playlistthere are also, according to Apple, names like the “Princess of Pop” Kylie Minogue or the Jamaican singer of R&B Grace Jones. It seems to be a fan of this genre, and anyone who tunes into your radio can still hear artists like the English Raye.
But the king of England is so eclectic that even hears Afrobeatand appoints artists such as David, contemporary artist who mixes Afro, pop and rap.
“You can see the wide enthusiasm of your majesty for the song on this playlist to mark Commonwealth Day,” said Erollyn Wallen, master of King’s Music Room. “Commonwealth has produced more than its quota-part of wonderful songs, singers and musicians, and this fun and eclectic collection is an excellent remembrance of this treasure of creativity.”
“Throughout my life, music has had great meaning for me. I know it is also the case of many others, ”says King Carlos III himself in the video. “But maybe, above all, it can raise our spirit To such an extent, and even more when gathers us in celebration. In other words, it brings us joy. ”
