The demonstration against Elon Musk in Lisbon gathered about ten people with the Tesla stand in a silent protest against billionaire involvement in US administration.
Protesters displayed posters with phrases like “United States. A government without two Tesla fingers ”and“ Go to Siberia! Have fun! ” The event took place one day after dozens of similar demonstrations in countries such as the US, the United Kingdom and Spain, organized through the Tesla Takedown portal.
The contestation arises due to the alleged role of Musk in Trump policy, including cuts of public spending through the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge). Some agencies were dismantled, which led to a growing negative reaction against the entrepreneur.
Liberal groups expect to boycott Tesla and weaken the impact of Doge, as reports of vandalism on brand cars increase. Tesla also faces difficulties in the scholarship, with the actions to fall almost a third since Trump’s inauguration. Musk’s fortune has had a reduction of over $ 121 billion since December 2024.
