The investment will be made through the BNDES Audiovisual Sector Fund (FSA). Created in partnership with Ancine (National Film Agency) and the Ministry of Culture, the FSA was launched in June 2024 with an initial budget of R $ 400 million, with the objective of fostering Brazilian audiovisual production.
The program seeks to induce investments and expand the credit market to the audiovisual sector, focusing on infrastructure, innovation, accessibility and business strengthening at all stages of the production chain.
“The culture, which has been persecuted in other times, has been valued again in President Lula’s government, and BNDES is resuming protagonism in support for audiovisual, a sector that generates jobs and income and gives visibility to national identity,” said BNDES President Aloizio Mercadante.
