The dish comes out extremely delicate and juicy, all thanks to pineapple juice, The enzymes it contains make the meat extremely fragile. The dish does not require exceptional culinary skills from the chef, you will make it from ingredients available in almost every store. Perfect for dinner for the whole family.
Prepare the following ingredients:
- 600 g chicken sticks,
- 200 g canned pineapples,
- 50 ml canned pineapple juice,
- 200 g cream 30 percent or coconut milk,
- 1 yellow pepper,
- 1 onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce,
- half a teaspoon of turmeric,
- half a teaspoon of ground sweet pepper,
- half a teaspoon of ground hot pepper,
- several branches of parsley,
- optionally 1 flat teaspoon of potato starch,
- salt and pepper to taste,
- Rapeseed oil for frying.
Prepare the meat first. Chicken sticks with salt, pepper and turmeric. Chop the onion finely. Wash the peppers, remove the seed nests and cut into cubes. Peel the garlic and squeeze through the press. Drain the pineapple from the pickle, cut into cubes, keeping the sauce juice.
Heat rapeseed oil in a large and deep frying pan. Put the chicken sticks and fry on medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side until the skin is browned. Take them off the pan and put them aside.
Fry the onion and garlic in the same pan until soft and slightly golden. Add peppers and pineapple, fry for another 3-4 minutes. Pour pineapple juice and soy sauce, then simmer for low heat for 2 minutes. Pour the cream or coconut milk. Season with salt, pepper, sweet and hot peppers. Cook on low heat for a few minutes. The sauce should thicken, but if it is still very rare, dissolve potato flour in a little water, add to the pan and start mixing vigorously.
Prepare a heat -resistant dish. Pour the sauce, leaving 2 tablespoons and arrange the chicken. Pour the remaining stuffing with sauce on top. Put in the oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius and bake for 15 minutes until the chicken skin is browned. Before serving, chop the parsley and sprinkle the dish with it.
