The Slovak National Party (CIS) calls on Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) to dismiss the chairman of the Statistical Office (SO) of the Slovak Republic Martin Nemky for Monday’s survey of election preferences. TASR informed the director of the office of the chairman of the CIS Zuzana Škopcová. At the same time, the German CIS asks to immediately publish the methodology and method of measurement. According to them, there were gross manipulations in relation to individual political parties.
“The CIS appeals that the SO is not politically abused and that the data it will provide is objective,” Skopcová said. She added that, according to the CIS SO, surveys that are not objectively assessed, do not control the public and are created for a political order.
Škopcová added that the CIS will initiate a parliamentary survey at the SO in order to ensure objective measurement. “However, we consider a political scandal if the state institution act as the marketers of some political parties want,” Skopcová declares. At the same time, the CIS proposes to create a system that ensures objective measurement.
