Minister of SRI (Secretariat of Institutional Relations), Gleisi Hoffmann, said she will dialogue with the “Broad coalition” which makes up the government of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) when taking office on this Monday (10.mar.2025). According to her, her mission in the new position is to add and she will do it listening and talking to everyone.
“I come to add was this mission I received and I want to fulfill in a government of wide coalition. Dialoguing with the political forces of Congress and the expressions of society, its organizations and movements ”these.
The deputy was known for the war against opposition, the BC (Central Bank) and governors in the presidency of the PT. In his inaugural speech, however, he praised the ministers Fernando Haddad (Fazenda) and Rui Costa (Casa Civil).
“I arrive to collaborate with all ministers and ministers who coordinate their respective areas, respecting the spaces and competences of each and each one”he said.
Gleisi stated that he knows that his role in Sri is that of political articulation. One of the criticisms of those who considered Lula’s mistake to put her in the role was that she could not talk to the opposition, with whom she was always hard in the words.
