Iranian diplomacy spokesman, Esmaeil Baqaei, countered the false information that the Persian country would be behind the clashes and massacres: ‘The accusation is completely ridiculous and rejected’

Violence exploded after an attack on March 6 by Bashar Al-Assad supporters against security forces near Latakia, the country of the west of the country and the cradle of the Alauite minority, branch of Shiite Islam from which the Assad family descends. Authorities have sent reinforcements to support the operations of security forces against pro-Assad combatants.
