An Israeli delegation must arrive on Monday to Qatar for a new round of conversations aimed at extending the fragile high fire in Gaza, after cutting the electricity supply in the Palestinian territory to press the Islamist movement Hamas.
The first phase of the truce concluded on March 1 without an agreement for the following phases, in which they had to ensure the end of the war, although the large -scale fighting have not been resumed.
Large differences persist on the terms of a second phase of the truce, which in general managed to stop the violence unleashed after Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023 against Israel.
Hamas claims immediate negotiations for the second phase, while Israel prefers to extend the initial phase.
