This delicacy derived from the Arab countries has a valuable protein necessary for the structure of muscles, bones and skin. It is also a great source of vitamins and minerals: A, C or B vitamins. Hummus also contains foliars, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, sodium, potassium, selenium, iron and copper.
Thanks to such a wealth of vitamins and minerals, hummus can undoubtedly counteract many diseases. Effectively protects against cancer – Saponins, phytic acid or antioxidants can prevent colorectal cancer. There is also no doubt that regular consumption of hummus is also a way for strong bones.

This snack, valued by vegans and vegetarians, also works great on a slimming diet, but you should remember about moderation – the hummus is quite caloric.

Ingredients:
- Chickpeas 400 g,
- Tahini Pasta 30 g,
- lemon juice 60 ml,
- olive oil 5 ml,
- ice cubes 50 g,
- baking soda 5 g,
- Salt 8 g.
Additions:
- Olives 100 g,
- red pepper powder 8 g,
- KMIN RZYMSKI 5 G.
Pour dried chickpeas into a bowl and pour water. Leave for 12 hours. After this time, chickpeas will increase its volume and some grains will lose the skin.
Put the chickpeas to a strainer, rinse and transfer to the pot. Add baking soda and pour water to a height of 4 cm above the chickpea level. Cook chickpeas for 30 minutes. Put a few grains from the pot, which will be useful to decorate the dish. Then cook another 60 minutes under cover.
Put the cooked chickpeas to a plate and drain from excess water. Set aside chickpeas for an hour to cool down. Put the chickpeas in a blender and combine with 2 tablespoons of tahini paste. Blend 3 minutes to obtain a uniform, creamy consistency. Then add ice cubes or very cold water and blend for another 2 minutes.
The consistency of chickpeas at this stage already resembles hummus. Add the squeezed middle lemon juice and add a one and a half teaspoon of salt.
Place the hummus in a bowl and add olive oil. Season with red paprika and a bit of Roman cumin. Finally, decorate the hummus with black olives and chickpeas. Hummus prepared in this way can be served with pita or tortilla.
