Jonas’s arrival at Benfica after terminating with Valencia is one of the suspicious business
The investigation was opened after a complaint made by Miguel Zorío, former vice-president of Valencia, who points out an illegal scheme for the Spanish club to finance the Eagles SAD.

The letter also raises questions about the transfers of Enzo Pérez and João Cancelo, whose negotiations would have followed the same pattern of atypical financial movements, with committees far above market value.
Another suspicious transaction involves the transfer of player Jonas, who arrived in Benfica at zero costbut generated a commission of 1.3 million euros for the agent.
