The creation of a strategic food plan for the municipality of Tavira will be the focus of the workshop to strengthen the local food network, which will take place in the Tavira Municipal Market, on Saturday, March 22, between 9:30 and 12:30.
This interactive workshop will resort to group dynamics to make a diagnosis of the county producers and consumers, identifying products, challenges, goals and tools to strengthen the local food system.
The session will be facilitated by Jorge Gonçalves, a doctorate in Economics, researcher and founder of Integral Minga Cooperative. Specialist in local base food systems, Jorge Gonçalves is also a trainer in courses on the creation of full cooperatives and consultant of various cooperative projects.
The initiative is part of the Mededap Tavira Project: Agroecology in Mediterranean context, promoted by AL-BIO-Algarve Agroecological Association, with the support of the municipality of Tavira.
Participation is free and open to the entire community.
