"We will not allow the harshly conquered peace to be concerned." Born concerned with sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia

Dodik’s decision, which in the meantime was suspended by the Bosnian Constitutional Court, has already led the Mission of Peace Maintenance of the European Union to announce a temporary increase in the size of its force of 1,100 staff in the country

“Our commitment to Bosnia-Herzegovina is firm. NATO totally supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia-Herzegovine ”. This is how Nato’s secretary general reacts to separatist laws that the pro-Russian president of the Serbian region, Milorad Dodik, imposed.

Mark Rutte, who is visiting Sarajevo, argues that “Dayton’s peace agreement is the basis of peace in this country and must be respected” for good and security, referring to the agreement that ended three and a half years of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and which resulted in the division into two regions. Rutte also attests to any actions that harm peace, such as laws that prohibit the action of the security and judicial bodies proposed by Dodik, are “unacceptable”.

“We will not allow the harshly conquered peace to be concerned,” Vinca Rutte, in statements to journalists, after gathering with the tripartite presidency of Bosnia and having instituting his three members to assume their responsibilities.

Last week, Dodik introduced new laws to ban the operation of security and judicial institutions at the state level by almost half of the country. Dodik’s decision, which in the meantime was suspended by the Bosnian Constitutional Court, has already led the Maintenance of Peace Maintenance of the European Union, Euphor to announce a temporary increase in the size of its force of 1,100 staff in the country, as reported.

“All those who attack the state of Bosnia-Herzegovina must know that they will suffer the consequences,” said Denis Becirovic, a member of the tripartite presidency, at an emergency press conference on Friday.

The Bosnian Court has already condemned pro-Russian President Milorad Dodik to a year in prison and has banned him from carrying out political activity for six years. Dodik rejected the sentence and the Serbian Regional Parliament prohibited the entry of the National Police and the judicial system into its territory.

Dodik’s measure sounded the alarms throughout Europe, but the court’s ruling was the target of harsh criticism from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Moscow called the Bosnian court decision “a blow to stability in the Balkan region.”
