The former president () and the governor (Republicans) attended the opening of the 14th edition of the National and International Motor Show, on Tuesday (11).
At the event, the former president reaffirmed that he will be presidential candidate in 2026, despite being declared ineligible by the Electoral Court by 2030, and said the governor is a name for the future.
“Tarcisio has a great political future here in Brazil,” he said. “Tarcisio is a tremendous manager. I only have compliments to tell him but he knows he’s a little younger than me, right?” Bolsonaro said.
The governor confirmed that he will go to the act promoted by the former president at Copacabana beach next Sunday (16).
During the visit to the hall, Bolsonaro sought to call more supporters for the demonstration. Speaking to journalists, he complained again of the judiciary, saying that “the system took out of jail a convict”, in a reference to President Lula (PT), and praised actions of his mandate.
He took advantage of the event to launch a collection of automotive helmets, the first products of Bravo Grafeno – office of which he is a partner – which manufactures graphene -based articles, a sturdier mineral than steel and extremely light, which he exploited he defended during his term.
