Former President of the Republic claimed to be happy with the resumption of the relationship and stressed the importance of the party leader for the political articulations of 2026
The former president has a meeting with the president of the PL, on Wednesday (12), at 10am, at the party headquarters. The meeting takes place after the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), revokes the prohibition of contact between the two. Bolsonaro said he was happy with the resumption of the relationship and stressed the importance of Valdemar for the political articulations of 2026. He also revealed that the leader will climb with him on the stage next Sunday (17), in Rio de Janeiro.
The restriction of contact had been imposed by Moraes in February 2024, under investigations on an alleged coup attempt. Despite being indicted by the Federal Police, Valdemar was not denounced by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), which led to the revocation of precautionary measures against him.
With the STF’s decision, in addition to being able to meet with Bolsonaro, Valdemar recovered his passport and permission to travel abroad, as well as to have seized goods, such as luxury watches
