Minister of the Environment stated on Monday (10.mar) that will continue to act for the “Front Broad” and “Defense of Democracy”
The Minister of the Environment, declared on Monday (10.mar.2025) that no longer intends to apply for the Presidency of the Republic. The statement was made during its participation in the program “Roda Viva”from TV Cultura.
“I will no longer be presidential candidate. I don’t put myself in this place. I was convinced to be a federal deputy, and while always seeing politics as a dynamic process, today my focus is to continue contributing to the broad front and the defense of democracy to follow victorious ”said the minister.
Marina Silva ran for presidency in three elections: 2010, 2014 and 2018. In 2022, he reconciled himself politically with the former president (PT), whom he was Minister of the Environment, and declared support for the candidacy of the petista, who was victorious against (PL).
