A Rede D’Or registered profit R $ 879.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, a 31.6% increase in comparison with the same interval of 2023. The adjusted net profit totaled R $ 932 million, a 29.3% increase in the same comparison.
In 2024, in turn, the company’s net income reached R $ 3.9 billion, a growth of 86.1% compared to 2023.
Ebitda (profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) was $ 1.9 billion in the fourth quarter, up 34.4% in the annual comparison. Already the adjusted EBITDA was R $ 2.3 billion, advance of 30.6%.
The adjusted EBITDA margin was 18.5%, 1.3 percentage point above one year before. In 2024, EBITDA reached R $ 8.5 billion, an increase of 33.3% compared to 2023.
Net revenue was R $ 13.057 billion from October to December 2024, a 9.4% increase over the same period of 2023. Last year, net revenue totaled R $ 51.3 billion, a growth of 9.3% compared to the previous year.
The financial result was negative at R $ 478.2 million in the fourth quarter, 41.1% higher than the same period last year.
At the end of December, the consolidated balance of gross debt from Rede D’Or was R $ 37.6 billion, expanding 10.4% compared to the result at the end of December 2023 and up 8.6% compared to the end of September.
Considering insurance provisions, net debt ended the quarter at R $ 10.6 billion, dropping 7.4% compared to December 2023 and up 3.4% compared to September 2024.
The leverage rate reached 1.3 time in the fourth quarter, remaining stable compared to the end of the third quarter.
Operational
The D’Or Network ended the fourth quarter with 13,054 total beds, an increase of 1,317 beds compared to the end of 2023 (+11.2%), and 330 beds compared to the previous quarter (+2.6%).
The occupancy rate of hospital beds reached 75.8% in the fourth quarter, 0.6 percentage point (PP). Below the occupation calculated in the same period of 2023. Compared to the previous quarter, the occupancy rate reduced 2.8 pp, following the company’s historical seasonal trend.
Regarding the average ticket, calculated from the total gross revenue and the number of daily patients, the D’Or Network showed 10% evolution compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 and 1.2% compared to the third quarter of 2024.
SulAmérica, on the other hand, ended the last quarter of 2024 with approximately 5.3 million health and odonto beneficiaries, an increase of 7.5% in the year against year. Consolidated claim was 80.2% at the end of December, a 4.9 pp improvement in the annual comparison.
