Project aims to rebuild the Peter Taylor stands, raising capacity and standards for Champions League
Nottingham Forest confirmed that he had plans to modernize the City Ground Stadium, focusing on the reconstruction of the Peter Taylor stands. The new structure will have a capacity of 10,000 people and will meet Champions League standards.
The renovation, initially announced in 2019, could start in the 2025/2026 season, reflecting the club’s ambitions, under the leadership of Nuno Espírito Santo, to compete in European competitions. The information was released by this 3rd (11.mar.2025).
Currently, City Ground has a capacity of 30,400 spectators, a number reached after the addition of hospitality suites. The modernization of the 60 -year -old Peter Taylor Stand is considered essential for improving facilities and fans experience. The club will make an appointment with seasonal cards about the relocation of seats to minimize impacts
In addition to the renovation, Nottingham Forest announced an increase in ticket prices for next season, with an average readjustment of 1.63 pounds per match. Prices were kept frozen for children’s and youth season cards in zone 4. For adults, the values start at £ 4 and reaches £ 915 in the premium areas of Zone UM.
Before defining the new price structure, the club sought fans feedback. A survey conducted by the group of fans Nottingham Forest Supporters’ Trust, with over 1,300 fans, indicated that 58% consider their season card to offer a good or excellent cost-effectiveness. In addition, the fan advisory board was involved in the discussion before the final decision.
