This Tuesday (11), the is contesting the decision of which suspended its operations, alleging a “breach of confidence” regarding the company’s ability to solve operational problems. The company argues that its fleet is safe and points out that this measure directly affects thousands of Brazilians who depend on their air services. The suspension will remain in force until VOEPASS can demonstrate the correction of the flaws pointed out.
“The company reiterates that its fleet in operation is aircraft and able to make flights following the rigorous requirements of safety standards. This decision has an immeasurable impact for thousands of Brazilians who use regional aviation every day and have their service, so they will put all their efforts to resume the operation as soon as possible, ”says the company in a statement.
The Ministry of Ports and Airports supported Anac’s decision, considering it “right.” The folder emphasizes the need for improvements in VOEPASS governance and operational safety. The suspension was motivated by the company’s inability to remedy irregularities detected during inspections, especially after an air crash in Vinhedo (SP) in August last year.
Currently, VOEPASS operates with a fleet of six aircraft and offers services to 15 different destinations. Passengers who have been impacted by the suspension must seek reimbursement or re -regular, following the guidelines set forth in ANAC Resolution 400. The regulatory agency highlighted the repetition of irregularities and the ineffectiveness of Voepass’s corrective action plan, which led to the loss of confidence in the company’s internal processes.
