The initiative is focused on Value pedagogical practices that contribute the 17 objectives of the Sustainable Development of the United Nations Agenda 2030 – such as quality education, gender equality, drinking water and sanitation, among others.
How will it work?
The projects will be divided into three thematic axes:
- human rights,
- sustainability,
- innovation and technology.
Not total, Nine initiatives will be awarded of teachers, advisors, coordinators or school principals.
Must have been developed in 2024 at any stage of teaching – From kindergarten to high school, including youth and adult education.
There will be a first evaluation for Select the finalists of each thematic axis And then the evaluation committee board will define the winners of each axis. The result will be released in October, in a ceremony in São Paulo.
Award
The first, seconds and third places placed on each thematic axis will receive PRio in cash in the amount of R $ 25 thousand, R $ 20 thousand and R $ 15 thousandrespectively. Winners will still win scholarships to study postgraduate and access to ProfS, a continuing education platform for Educators at Somos Educação.
In addition, the three projects appointed to 1st place will compete for the Educator of the Year Award, which will take a donation to school of R $ 25 thousand.
