In March, frosts sometimes like to come back, it is worth keeping an eye on weather forecasts and in case a large decrease in temperature to protect plants. Smaller pots can be moved, among others to the garage, and the larger ones protect with agrotextile. At the same time, hiding them home, they must be placed in a cool place so that they do not survive the sudden shock associated with the change of the environment.

When choosing the right pot on the terrace or balcony, remember that it has drainage holes, it will prevent the accumulation of water (if there is too much of it, the roots can begin to rot). In addition, at the bottom of the pot you can put a small layer of small pebbles to ensure drainage. In the case of a substrate, the universal soil for flowers will be a good choice. Of course, you can also focus on the ground dedicated to a given type of plant. As for watering, in March it should be done less often, due to the lower temperature, the flowers do not need so much hydration.
