Potted plants now need your attention. Don't miss this procedure

Some plants prefer constantly moist soil. Still others grow better on desert soil dry. By choosing the right substrate, we provide our home specimens with good growth conditions. We dispel all doubts about the selection of the Earth.

Many people choose universal soil for potted plants, but it is not the best choice. Specialists have developed a mixture that matches every specimen. I am talking about substrate. What is this soil?

The finished substrate of the Substral has a balanced compositiontailored to the specific requirements of various plant species. Thanks to it, we do not have to fertilize specimens, because it provides balanced nutrition for up to 6 months. The nutrients are slowly released, depending on moisture and temperature.

It is also worth adding that such a ready ground has a smaller amount of peat, and larger wood fibers. Therefore, we consider them more environmentally friendly.

The Substral offer contains many different substrates that can be adapted to specific species of potted plants. In question?

  • Substrate to green plants

Green plants include ficus, monster, zloty or epipremnum. They need a fertile, slightly sour soil with a reaction of 5.7-6.2. The soil should keep moisture well, but also do not cause rotting roots. There is a perfect composition of such a substrate High peat, low peat, bark and wood fibers and long -acting fertilizer.

They cannot have “ordinary land” – it must be light, well aerated and non -moisture. The substrate to the orchid contains composted pine bark, coconut chips and long -acting fertilizer. Thanks to these ingredients, plants feel like in a natural environment.

Substral also has a ground for plants whose roots require drought. It should be light, permeable and poor in nutrients. Therefore, we are talking about a mixture sand, expanded clay, low peat, high peat and long -acting fertilizer.

The fern soil must be moist and humus, ensuring breathability and protecting against soil composition. The special substrate for these pot plants contains in its composition peat, wood fibers, bark and long -acting fertilizer.

Citruses must have light soil, rich in nutrients. The ideal substrate for them contains materials, i.e. High peat, low peat, bark, long -acting fertilizer, as well as starting fertilizer.
