Find out why Gene Hackman's dead dog was found in box

Police may have answered another question that surrounds the deaths of 95 -year -old actor Gene Hackman, his wife Betsy Arawaka and a family dog. The three were found dead at the couple’s residence in the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA), on February 26.

The most accepted hypothesis to date by the authorities is that Betsy Arawaka was the one who died first on February 11. The cause of her death was due to a lung syndrome caused by hantavirus – a disease transmitted to humans through urine, feces or saliva of contaminated wild rodents.

After Betsy’s death, Gene Hackman would have been alone in the residence. The actor, who had an advanced Alzheimer’s Alzheimer, would not have noticed his wife’s death and stayed at home without any assistance for days, according to the authorities. He is believed to have died on February 17, because the date was the last recorded by the actor’s pacemaker.

In addition to the couple, a family bitch was also found dead inside the residence, which remained a mystery to the authorities. The investigation pointed out that Betsy would have taken the animal, which was named Zinna, to a veterinarian days before her death after performing a procedure.

Betsy is believed to have kept the dog attached to a box due to the procedure. The animal was found inside this box, at Gene and Betsy’s residence.
