If you like extremely sweet pastries, then honey cake You will definitely like it. Honey, kajmak, cream – incl. These ingredients make the dessert melt in the mouth.

Cake:

  • 450 g of wheat flour,
  • 180 g cukru,
  • 180 g of butter,
  • 1 egg in size L or XL,
  • 6 tablespoons of honey,
  • 4 tablespoons of cream 36%,
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking soda,
  • ½ teaspoon salt.

Cream:

  • 400 g kajmaku,
  • 450 g of butter,
  • 70 g of ground walnuts,
  • 50 g of honey.

Syrup:

  • 2.5 tablespoons of sugar,
  • 50 ml of water,
  • 150 ml of rum.

Additionally:

  • Powder sugar for sprinkling.

Prepare the cake.

Whip butter, sugar, egg, honey and cream in a water bathuntil you get a creamy and bright mixture for about 5 minutes. Remove the whole and set aside.

Sift flour and baking soda into a separate bowl. Add a warm mix of wet ingredients Mix the whole gently with a spatula.

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts with a mass of about 150 g each. Cover them with cling film and set aside for 5 minutes.

Roll out each piece of dough thinly into a cake about 2-3 mm thick and press it into a baking tray lined with baking paper measuring 20×20 cm. Cut off the protruding edges with a sharp knife.

Bake the bottom at 180 degrees Celsius for about 4-5 minutesuntil golden color.

Repeat the activity for the remaining 5 parts of the dough and all cut off leftovers, baking cookies.

Prepare the cream.

Place the cans with kajmak in a deep saucepan with a lid, filled with water completely covering them. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook the whole for 2 hours under the lid. Then turn off the burner and let the water cool completely.

Remove the cans and set aside for at least 4 hours, and then open them.

Whip the butter in the bowl for down for about 10 minutes.

Then Add kajmak, honey and ground nuts. Mix to a thorough connection. Set aside

Prepare the syrup.

Place all ingredients in a pot and heat until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Fold the dough.

The tops of the dough soak well with prepared syrup.

Divide the cream into 6 parts. Transfer the dough tops with it, ending them with cream.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Put the honey cake in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Serve cold.
